While Jon was on the boat looking for whales
Catherine stayed ashore and enjoyed Dominica’s rainforest. Where we stayed had 4 acres of gardens (a downside was that it was a cruise ship tour so everyday up to 30 toursits showed up and wandered around) with lots of hummingbirds. That gave her plenty of opportunities to capture the hummingbird activity.
She also embarked on a new adventure, taking infrared pictures. (for the technically inclined she is using a Olympus OM-D EM5 with a supercolor infrared sensor). While not for everyone, they present a different view of the world.
